Ditoro Game Lodge is a private game lodge in the Melkrivier area of the Waterberg.

Directions to Ditoro Game Lodge:

From Johannesburg, Pretoria to Modimolle (Nylstroom)

At the Kranskop Toll Plaza, keep left towards Modimolle (Nylstroom)

Continue to Vaalwater (about 65 km)

At the first 4-way stop in Vaalwater, turn right towards Melkrivier Road.

Continue for 33 km.

Turn right into Sondagsloop gravel road, continue for 11 km until you reach T-junction.

Turn right at T-junction (Modimolle/Melkrivier Road), continue for 4,3km, Ditoro Game Lodge gate on your left. (Ditoro Game Lodge signboard on right side of road), pass through gate.

Once inside, you continue for about 6 km, passing through 2 more gates. You will pass between Sediba Lodge’s shed/farmhouse (on the right) and labourers cottage (on the left) and then across a small dam. Keep going for another 1 km till you reach Ditoro’s gate – you can’t miss it, there’s a big mural depicting lion, elephant and so on.

Note: Please close all gates behind you.

Once inside the gate, cross over the dam and then turn right at the kudu-horn sign to reach the main lodge area.
