What to bring All food and drinks (unless arranged with management beforehand) Camera, film & binoculars Towels for swimming/jacuzzi Safety swimming wings for young childen Sunglasses, hats and suntan lotion (the African sun can be fierce) Gloves, scarf and warm jacket in winter (essential for winter night drives, but mornings and evenings can be chilly any time of year) Good walking shoes Cellphone & charger (limited reception – none at the Riverfront Camp, but fair reception around the main lodge and other parts of the farm) Tabard (although mosquitoes are not a problem in this area) Although we do keep a well-stocked first-aid kit for emergencies, be sure to bring any medicines used for chronic or common conditions. The nearest pharmacy, clinic and doctors are 40 km away. Note: The water quality in the Waterberg is among the best in the world. | |||||||||||||||||
