Vaalwater has expanded with the growth
of tourism the last few years, but retains its feel as a tiny one-street
town. The town meets the needs of residents and visitors to the Waterberg
who require groceries, petrol/diesel, medical care, photo development,
curio gift shopping, coffee shops, police services, as well as catering to
the needs of the large game farming, eco-tourism, hunting and lodge
industry, etc.
Take note that Zeederbergs' Spar (1,5 km west of the
only stop sign on the main road) is the last grocery store for
miles. |
